In order to figure out what he really wants in life, shy outsider Flake makes some daring decisions on the evening of his high school graduation party. As a result, he is involuntarily given the opportunity to get to know drug dealer Kim and embittered wheelchair user Philipp better through community service. Hoping to reveal his feelings to his crush Leonie, he lets Kim persuade him to go on a road trip to Lake Constance.
